Politically, Barisan Nasional is a party with a proven track record that can deliver. Conversely, the opposition parties would not deliver on their promises.
Barisan Nasional candidate, Robert Lau Hui Yew, says only Barisan can deliver. Like the voter, he, too, wanted positive changes in Sibu but he felt it must come in stages.
“I will bring about changes for the betterment of all Sibu folk,” he said, adding that his DAP rival Wong Ho Leng was a two-term Bukit Assek assemblyman but had failed to bring any positive change to Sibu.
He appealed to the voters to vote for him for more development and a stable country.
